A great class for anyone interested in optimum health and fitness. This class is taught at 95-98 degrees and 30% humidity. Appropriate for beginners who are mindful of their effort and abilities - it is helpful to know basic postures. Also good for intermediate students who are looking to continue to strengthen their practice.
Earth with Weights (60 min)
A flowing vinyasa class with weights is a mind-body exercise, integrating the mindfulness of yoga with the physical culture of bodybuilding. Yoga has the power to transform people’s lives and empower individuals in ways that working out alone simply cannot. Combining the two is empowering & challenging; breath-based yoga postures held in accurate alignment, while simultaneously using light weights.

A flowing form of yoga that heals, detoxifies and electrifies body and mind at their deepest levels. Yin Yoga (60 min)
This is a slow, passive stretching class perfect for beginners, those recovering from injury, or those just needing a gentle practice after a stressful day. Seasoned yoga students find Yin yoga to be a perfect compliment and balance to their more active practices. Yoga postures are taught in an environment geared toward restoration, healing and relaxation at 90-92 degrees. Emphasis on gentle strength building, flexibility, and the use of the breath. Yin yoga allows you to safely stretch and lengthen muscles, work joints and strengthen the deeper tissues. Poses are held as you slowly control your breathing to keep muscles passive, and work deeper into the joints and tissues. A much needed tool for anyone who needs to unwind a tight body, mind and heart.

Using 2” dia. ball placed at specific landmarks and trigger points under the body, while slowly moving through healing postures.
Hot! Pilates (60 min)
Once practiced only by dancers, actors and sports figures, Pilates is now a mainstream fitness process that provides a great workout. This 60 minute mat class is for all ages, shapes and sizes whether you are experienced or not. We offer a non-competitive environment to practice specific exercises, coupled with focused breathing, which will tone muscles, build core strength, increase flexibility and improve your posture. We recommend all students take at least one hot Pilates class per week to create a balance of core, hip and upper body strength.
